Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about evaluations, rules and payouts. Missing yours? Ask the live chat or open a ticket.
How fast do I get my account?
It depends on the platform you choose at checkout. On the SV Funded desk the account is created the moment your payment is confirmed and appears in your dashboard with an 'Open trading desk' button; there is nothing to download and no password. On MetaTrader 5 the account is opened for you after payment is confirmed, and the login details come by email and appear in your dashboard.
Is the trading real money?
All evaluation and funded accounts are simulated accounts on real market pricing. You never trade our capital directly — but the rewards are real: payouts are paid in USDT according to your plan's profit split.
Which platforms do you support?
Two, and you choose one at checkout. The SV Funded desk is our own trading desk in your browser, on phone and desktop: TradingView charts, one-click trading, and your plan's rules checked live; your account is ready right after payment. MetaTrader 5 is the MetaTrader 5 terminal on desktop or mobile, on a demo account at our MetaTrader 5 broker; Expert Advisors are allowed, and the login details come by email and on your account page once the account is created. You cannot switch the platform yourself. Support can move an account to the other platform on request, when it has no open trades and is in good standing.
How do I pay for a challenge?
Checkout is in crypto (USDT and other major coins). As soon as the payment is confirmed, your order is processed automatically: a desk account is created at once, and a MetaTrader 5 account is opened for you, with the login details by email and in your dashboard.
What counts as a trading day?
A day (21:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC) on which you opened at least one trade. Several trades on one day still count as one day; a day with only open positions and no new trade does not count. You need 1 day to pass 1-Step and 3 per phase on 2-Step, plus 10 (1-Step) or 3 (2-Step) trading days on the funded account before each payout.
When does the daily loss reset?
The trading day rolls over at 21:00 UTC. Your daily loss limit is measured against your equity at that moment.
Is there a time limit on evaluations?
No — but there is an inactivity rule: open or close at least one trade within any 10 consecutive days on evaluation and funded accounts, or the account is closed.
What happens when I hit the profit target?
The system closes your open positions and runs a compliance review of every rule — loss limits, closed-profit target, trading days, consistency where it applies, and the prohibited practices. If everything checks out, your next phase or funded account is created and you are emailed (instantly on the desk; on MetaTrader 5 with the login details by email and in your dashboard). If an objective is still open you get the account back active with the reasons; if a rule was breached the account is closed and the email explains the rule, the evidence and includes a retake discount. Patterns that need a human look are decided by our team. You can open the whole checklist, with the evidence, on the account page in your dashboard.
What is the consistency rule?
On 1-Step funded accounts your best realized day must stay below 40% of the total realized profit of the payout period. Exactly 40% does not qualify. It is a payout condition, not a breach: the account stays active and the payout waits. 2-Step has no consistency rule.
Do you refund challenge fees?
Fees are non-refundable once your account is created — see the Refund Policy. Separately, 2-Step plans return the challenge fee together with your first payout as a performance reward.
Can I use EAs, bots or copy trading?
Yes, on MetaTrader 5. Expert Advisors, bots, scripts and trade copiers are allowed on MetaTrader 5 accounts. The SV Funded desk does not support them, so desk accounts are traded by hand. Every other rule on the rules page applies to automated trading exactly as to manual trading — the minimum hold, hedging, arbitrage, account sharing and copying trades between different traders' accounts count for a robot exactly as for a person — and what is allowed is allowed for robots and people alike. Copying another trader — a signal service such as MetaTrader 5 Signals, or another person's account — is not allowed and is reviewed by our team. Directional news trading and holding over the weekend are allowed.
Are martingale, grid trading and adding to a losing trade allowed?
Martingale is allowed on every account: trading a bigger size after a losing trade has closed never breaches an account, and your review shows it as a note. Adding to a position while it is still open and losing is allowed, and grid trading — 4 or more evenly spaced positions in the same direction open together — is allowed. The daily and overall loss limits always apply. The rules page explains the difference with examples, in the section "Martingale, adding to a losing trade and grid: the difference".
How many trades can I make in a day?
Up to 150 positions opened in one trading day on an account. Above that our team reviews the account for high-frequency trading. It never closes the account automatically, but it can be the reason a payout is refused. Every position must still be held at least 60 seconds.
How do payouts work?
Request a payout from a funded account in your dashboard once it is eligible: 30 days after it is created for the first payout, then every 14 days; minimum trading days met; no open positions; share above $250; KYC verified. The dashboard shows the eligibility checklist and the split calculation before you request. Our team reviews the same checklist, approves, and sends USDT to your wallet within 24 hours — the transaction hash and payment proof are recorded in your dashboard and emailed to you.
What if my KYC isn't approved automatically?
Upload a sharper photo or document following the one-line reason shown on your dashboard — you get up to 3 automatic tries. If your ID looks altered or unreadable, or you're on your 3rd unsuccessful try, a person on our team takes over from there; you don't get a 4th automatic rejection.
How does a payout review work?
The same checklist as your dashboard's eligibility list is reviewed by our team across this account and your others before a payout is approved. The rules our team checks by hand — more than 150 trades in a day, copying another trader, cross-account hedging or copying, arbitrage, account sharing, churning, news bracketing, one-sided exposure — go to a person and are never decided automatically, but can still be why a payout is refused. A refusal names the rule(s) it is based on; if every rule checked out, our team writes the reason.
What happens after a payout?
The paid-out account is archived and a fresh funded account of the same size is created for you on the same platform (instantly on the desk; on MetaTrader 5 with the login details by email and in your dashboard). Trading continues there, and the next payout is available 14 days after the previous approved one, once the minimum trading days on the new account are met.
Can I have more than one account?
Yes — you can run multiple challenges at the same time under one customer profile. Opposite positions on the same instrument across your accounts that are open together for more than 2 seconds count as hedging and are prohibited, and so is a copier between them (same trades opened within 1 second of each other). Our team checks this at the payout review rather than closing an account automatically. Placing the same trades by hand on several accounts is fine as long as no two of them hold opposite positions.
What happens if I breach a rule?
The account is closed automatically and you will see the rule, the reason and the evidence in your dashboard and in the email — together with a discount code for your next challenge. On 2-Step, your first breach in Phase 2, whatever the rule, gives you one free retry of Phase 2.
